The use of electro-acupuncture to improve blood flow to the uterus, and achieve normal pregnancy: (study)
Electro-acupuncture is a technique where electrical devices are attached to acupuncture needles, and transmits pulses to the body. The patient senses the delicate insert of acupuncture needles in his body that are stimulated by the electrodes. A study by the University Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Beijing, examined the effect of acupuncture combined with the use of electrode device on: the blood flow to the uterus, thickening of the uterus lining, and implantation.
12 treatments were performed in women undergoing fertility (IVF). The treatments were performed on acupuncture points: Sp10, Bl 23, 28, Sp6, Bl 57, Cv3. The points were selected according to the transmission of vital energy into the uterus.
The results were published in the journal of Guan-yin University in Beijing, clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of using acupuncture and electrodes, to strengthen and improve blood flow to the uterus, and to increase the chances of becoming pregnant. The study showed that this method increases blood supply to the uterine arteries, and increases the supply of oxygen into it.
The results:
Of the 254 women who participated in the study, all had: implantation problems, or thin uterus lining, history of repeated miscarriages, combined with difficulty to keep the pregnancy to term. Those miscarriages happened in the first few weeks of pregnancy. The women were divided into two groups:
- Group one: The women received acupuncture support, and electrodes to increase blood supply to the uterus.
- Group two: The women received no support of acupuncture and electrodes.
38% of the women who received acupuncture obtained a strong and stable pregnancy without further miscarriage – compared with the 9% of the women in the second group.
For implantation problems and in cases of thin uterus lining which causes early miscarriages – acupuncture combined with nutrition and herbal formulas greatly improves the thickness of the uterus lining, and increases implantation success rate of normal and strong pregnancy.
It is highly recommended to try Chinese medicine for these problems.
