Dear Sara, I would like to thank you for the journey we've been on together. I came to you after my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost three years to have our second child. We've been through two miscarriages and we even tried several inseminations which were unsuccessful. When I had medical tests done, they found that my FSH is imbalanced and of course the age issue (of both of us) of being over 40. The doctor who treated in the insemination said we should undergo IVF. To Sara's clinic I arrived after a long history of hormonal diseases. 15 years ago I became ill with thyroid cancer that has spread to all parts of the throat and after three surgeries and three months of radiation therapy I was left without a functioning thyroid and parathyroid glandular (which are responsibility for the supply of calcium in the body). After a long and difficult year of treatment, I won over the cancer but I was left with an active endocrine disease and since I do not remember if my hormones were ever balanced. The doctor who gave me insane amounts of hormones told me at the end that only egg donation will help me to get pregnant. Just before starting hormonal treatments The doctor said I have thin endometrium and every month I would spot before menstruation. I changed my diet, I drank tea, and did everything Sara recommended. Hello everyone, I'd love to share my story and give hope to many more women who are waiting to get pregnant and have a child... My name is Heli, married of 6 years, 26 years old, undergoing fertility treatments for three years.
